Last week we were talking indie music. This week we’re talking opera. Our guest is Mike Bullard, president of Inland Northwest Opera.
INO is gearing up for its first main-stage production, Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, after a bumpy couple of years. Their last main-stage production was Verdi’s La Traviata in 2022.
Mike explains how the group re-found its footing, why this comic operetta is ideal for their return, and the world-class performers who are involved in it.
Die Fledermaus performances are on September 11 and 13 in North Idaho College’s Schuler Auditorium.
